T O P I C R E V I E WLilithEarthAngelI am experiencing this in my relationship , north node & saturn in composite & it's an exact conjunction? are we doomed? the relationship isn't getting off the ground, it's a big oppression for both of us, like this whole feeling of hopelessness, but surly it can work, surly there's a chance for us to find some direction together, my pluto tightly conjunct his moon, I don't want to let go. If any one can offer any experience of this so I can understand it better I would be so grateful as I am in so much pain and confusion right now. Thanks.yungang_grottoThat hopeless feeling happens in lots of relationships at various times when actually growth is happening but there is resistance.. which is Saturn's speciality... solid growth under extreme conditions of testing and stricture. Saturn does not forever deny, only delays... some of the work you're laying down together may serve you in good stead. On its own Saturn North Node can be an excellent aspect,, a sign of a long and delightful teacher student relationship, where one party often has crucial lesions for the other in terms of maturity, and what it takes to manifest that and get there. Saturn also has a lot of patience for the North Node person, so that'sa definite plus, knowing how to help Brian and expand their horizons, but realistically.. which means sometimes gently helping the person off with the rose coloured glasses a little bit, and addressing any warped or over inflated ideas lovingly (hopefully). I have been Saturn with 3 people, my daughter and two of my friends, my Saturn conjunct their NNs I mean.Obviously the rest of the synastrt matters a great deal.If a relationship has never offered reasons for feeling great then it might be a good thing to assess that, realistically. But if there is a basic emotional connection to work on and home back to you can weather some very intense challenges together...todd quote:Originally posted by LilithEarthAngel:I am experiencing this in my relationship , north node & saturn in composite & it's an exact conjunction? are we doomed? the relationship isn't getting off the ground, it's a big oppression for both of us, like this whole feeling of hopelessness, but surly it can work, surly there's a chance for us to find some direction together, my pluto tightly conjunct his moon, I don't want to let go. Thanks.Saturn with the node in a composite show that the reality of the relationship is affected by often forces. this shows that the man, usully, is in a position of power, either financial ,social or emotional. it can show he has "occult" connections .this position can give a "altered state of reality" to the relationship . it usually shows the relationship has a high degree of selfishness. the other aspects are very important because this conjunction can make the bad aspects worse and give the favorable aspect more strength.todd vansiobumpimplosionsI love this aspect in charts. It takes a LOT of work, and very steady people, but this is the stuff of the long term. Biggest advice: RESPECT. There has to be respect of yourself, the other, the both, separate and the whole. And yes, that is a lot, but with the NN involved, this is a connection that is asking ... Do you want to do the work for it?And btw, it may feel very fated and heavy, but that does not mean you are trapped to the other. In fact, if there is a trapped feeling, the outside pressure is being personalized. Sometimes it can call for drastic, very real responses to things.Depending on where in the chart it's located and what else is aspecting ... there is always a story to tell.-R
